1 month to go until I set sail in Tonga!

As my inner circle, you had the inside scoop before the official media release but eXXpedition officially launched their latest voyages to the press this week.

Watch the Founder of eXXpedition Emily Penn talk to Sky News about how we will be voyaging around the globe, helping to produce the first ever study that maps plastic pollution from sea to source.

 

The first voyage is across the South Pacific and it's split into 3 legs.

I am on Leg 3 in Tonga.

Leg 2 is from New Zealand to Tonga.

Leg 1 is around New Zealand and started on Monday.

You can follow along and track the boat's progess here.

 

Future voyages for this research mission will be taking place in the Arctic, Antarctica, the North Pacific and the Caribbean.
